Studenter ved NMH forholder seg til mange lærere og emner. Ens praksis gjør det enklere for studentene å finne riktig informasjon, og tilgang til nettmøter bør derfor være lik i all undervisning. NMH anbefaler at:

Nettmøter som brukes i undervisningen opprettes i Canvas (vårt digitale læringsmiljø), slik at studentene finner alle sine nettmøter i Canvas
Lærer informerer studentene om hvor de finner nettmøtet via en kunngjøring i Canvas

Her følger beskrivelser av hvordan du gjør dette.

Lag nettmøte i Canvas

Logg inn på Canvas.
Velge emnet som nettmøtet skal brukes i.
Velg «Zoom» i emnemenyen.
Velg «Schedule a New Meeting».
Om du ønsker å bruke dette møtet i alle undervisningstimene i emnet krysser du i boksen til venstre for «Recurring meeting», og velger «No fixed time» til høyre for «Recurrence».
Til venstre for «Security» må du velge minst et av alternativene. For enklest mulig tilgang til møtet anbefales at du velger «Only autenticated users can join...». Om du vil slippe inn studentene i møtet en etter en, velger du «Waiting room».
Fyll ut de øvrige feltene.
Rull ned og velg «Save» .

Får å starte møtet, gå inn i canvasemnet, velg «Zoom» i emnemenyen og velg «Start».

Informer studentene med en kunngjøring i Canvas

Fortell studentene hvor de finner nettmøtene med en kunngjøring i Canvas, slik:

Logg inn på Canvas.
Velge emnet som kunngjøringen skal lages i.
Velg «Ny kunngjøring» til høyre på emnets hjemside.
Studentene får mange kunngjøringer, så lag en beskrivende tittel.
I teksten tar du med at de finner emnets nettmøter ved å gå inn på canvasemnet, velge «Zoom» i emnemenyen og velge «Join».
Rull ned og velg «Lagre»

Canvasemnet må være publisert og studentene må ha takket ja til invitasjonene til emnet for at studentene skal motta kunngjøringen. Minn gjerne dine studenter på at kommunikasjon med Canvas fungerer best når de benytter Canvas Student app på sin smarttelefon, og mottar varsling for kunngjøring.

Students at NMH relate to many teachers and subjects. A uniform system regarding online meetings will make it easier for students to find correct information.. NMH recommends that:

Online meetings used in teaching are created in Canvas (our virtual learning environment), so that students find all their online meetings in Canvas
The teacher informs the students about where to find the online meeting via an announcement in Canvas

Here are descriptions on how to do this.

Create an online meeting in Canvas

Log in to Canvas.
Select the course in which the online meeting will be used.
Select “Zoom” in the course menu.
Select "Schedule a New Meeting".
If you want to use this meeting in all teaching hours in the course, tick the box to the left of «Recurring meeting», and select «No fixed time» to the right of «Recurrence».
You must select at least one “Security” option. For the easiest possible access to the meeting, it is recommended that you select «Only authenticated users can join ...». If you want to let the students into the meeting one by one, select «Waiting room».
Fill in the other fields.
Scroll down and select «Save».

To start the meeting, enter the canvas course, select “Zoom” in the course menu and «Start».

Announcement in Canvas

Tell the students where they find the online meetings with an announcement in Canvas, as follows:

Log in to Canvas.
Select the canvas course in which the announcement is to be made.
Select "New announcement" on the right side of the course home page.
Students get a lot of announcements, so make a descriptive title.
In the text field, tell them that they find the online meetings by going to the canvas course, select «Zoom» in the course menu and «Join».
Scroll down and select «Save»

The canvas course must be published and the students must have accepted the invitations to the course in order for the students to receive the announcement. Feel free to remind your students that communication with Canvas works best when they use the Canvas Student app on their smartphone, and receive notification for announcements.
